As mom of all boys who are teens right now, I find
myself praying and asking God to give me strength. You can imagine cooking
meals for 5 and working from home, cleaning and all the other duties of a mom!
At times
it can be overwhelming. What I have learned to do is pause for a second
and meditate on the promises of God Philip 4:13 - I can do all things
through him who strengthens me. I confess this word with my mouth. This does
not mean, that I will grow muscles overnight and become a Wonder woman.
This
means that God will strengthen me supernaturally to have strength to deal with
the daily challenges I may be facing.
Sometimes we need strength
not only the physical strength, but we need the mental strength to deal with
circumstances, you are going through .
Take a
pause and breathe and set the priorities of what you should do first.
I was
encouraged and I had to share what I had read, as I was studying my bible
today, you may find yourself without strength today, overwhelmed. Rest in God
today and read. Paul was content because he could see life from God's point
view. He focused on what he was supposed to do not what he felt he should have.
Paul had his priorities straight, and he was grateful for everything God had
given to him.
Clear
your mind today and meditate on God and His priorities and ask Him to guide
you.
Today he
will give you the strength you need today. You may have tons of laundry,
dishes in the sink, or meetings or appointments, deadlines and you have looked
at your watch and you’re behind schedule.
Ask God
for strength and remember that you can do all Things in Christ who strengthens
you!
I have
these promises of God that you can declare today:
2
Corinthians 12:9 My grace is enough;
it’s all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
2
Chronicles 16-9 For the eyes of the Lord move over all the
earth so that He may give strength to those whose whole heart is given to Him.
You have done a foolish thing. So from now on you will have wars.”
Isaiah
41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your
God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my
righteous right hand.
1
Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence
continually!
Exodus
15:2 The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this
is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Philippians
4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Psalm
18:32-34 The God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless.
He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. He
trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
So, if
you’re a mom, you have the strength to tackle that laundry today and Rejoice!
Be
encouraged and don't give up! Keep a grateful heart of Thanksgiving
today. You have strength in Christ who is in you!
